Sorry, now that I have that out of my system....
DreamWave. You guys SUCK. You took one of my most treasured childhood memories and brought it back to the pages of a comic book. For that I thank you. You wrote good storylines. For that I thank you. You're running 400,000 different sub-series and mini-series all at the same time and all in different timelines / eras. Quit turning Optimus Prime into a cash cow and doing dirty things with said cow for everyone to see. Put all the storylines in order, in two or three books. Clean up continuity. And for chrissakes, ignore the stupid-ass cartoon (Both of them). Furman, I KNOW you can do better.
mmmm..... I want. Badly.
In other news, work sucks, but since when is that anything major. Luckily, the whole ISO pre-audit is over, as is the corrections I needed to take care of. :) Unfortunately, I've pretty well got to hold off on transferring over to the new server until next year. The upside of this is that I can wipe out Xandros and put Debian Woody on there the way I originally wanted to. More stable, less confusing custom configuration thingys. (I call them thingys because that's the technical term. ;P )
The elf and I will be at SugoiCon this weekend. 4 hour drive each way (No, we're not commuting each day.) She likes modern rock (Cold, Evanescence, Linkin Park) and Techno. I like Hair Metal, "Classic" Rock, and Instrumental Rock. Any suggestions for Mix CD's? I'd like to introduce her to some of the music I listen to and hopefully she'll like it. I've got:
Dream Theater, Eagles, Extreme, the new Iron Maiden, Psykosonic, Offspring, Frank Zappa, Moxy Fruvous, Ozzy, Queensryche, Nightwish, Joe Walsh, Rainbow, Mike Oldfield, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Tesla, Rush, Yanni, and every Project Majestic Mix available. I also have a bootleg copy of Dweezil and Ahmet Zappa's 65-95 Medley. :)
(EDIT) Did I neglect to mention Dire Straits and Blue Oyster Cult?
